Small or medium-sized operator? Your regulatory deadline is 30 June 2027, not December 2026. But your EU buyer's deadline is 30 December 2026 — if your shipment doesn't have a DDS by then, they'll find a supplier who does.

The EU buyer cancels

Shipment held at port
No EUDR Information System reference number, no customs clearance. One missing polygon stops the entire consignment.
Fine of up to 4% of turnover
Article 25 — maximum penalty of 4% of total annual EU turnover, applied per infringement.
